Òmnium Cultural has asked the UN to create an international investigative commission on the case of political espionage against independentists in Spain, to “identify and punish those responsible”.

The president of the sovereignist entity, Xavier Antich, has sent a letter to the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, in which he asks for a commission to prepare a “really independent and impartial report on massive espionage” to independentistas, Òmnium explained in a statement.
